Liz smirked. "Oookies I will just take your word on that sir, so its now up to me to talk to the cryptic artifact and get a vague answer..." She smiled and shrugged. "I've started with worse..."
Liz smiled at that and nodded idly touching just under her neck, where the necklace still lay under her uniform tunic. "Oh right...like of course...dur. All this talk about the Tarot Mystery with the kiddies on the Pill..."
She mused a moment and smirked. "Yes let's stay with Aquarius, its sure to annoy quite a few of my many detractors out there and there are still contacts I can use that only know me as such...best to go with the devil you know so to speak..."
She considered something further and canted her head some.
"Are you really sure about this sir?" She smiled amused now. "You are soooo gonna get some blow back over this recruitment...there are some on your staff that well..." She chuckled.
"...are so not a part of the 'We adore Dizzy Lizzy' fan club...in fact as I recall for some its down and out 'Lets get her' hatred."

Arak nodded intensely. "Once the hearings are over, I want to take you to Starbase 33. Show you around, let you talk to Second Sight. It works best if the querent is the one to ask. We're not exactly sure why."
Arak tapped a few buttons on his PADD. "I'm very much sure about this. If anyone has a problem, they'll need to deal with it." He booped a few more buttons. "It's official... you're now part of Project Avalon. At this point, I'd normally give a long-winded talk on what this Project is, but you know it just as well as I do." He smiled. "Your intelligence clearance will be restored as soon as the inquest is over... if only because I don't want T'Grav hopping up and down on this." He handed her a PADD. "This contains some information you might need... replicator patterns for the official uniform and so forth."
"Oh, and before I forget." He pulled out a large gift basket from underneath the desk. It was packed with fruit and chocolate. "This is your official 'Welcome to Avalon' gift basket. It's a new thing I've been doing for the past couple years. Don't tell T'Nae."

Liz nodded and then sat back some. "Could be a bit sir, and in the end I could end up locked away in the pokey. Its so not like I am winning friends and being asked to the homecoming dance...T'Grav and Haller are looking to loop nooses around anyone in Salvation who had a high placement...."
Liz nodded once more. "No no I totes agree, right now I'm toxic as a lingerie store without a window in mid February sale." She leans forward and accepts the PADD. "OOoo new unis...snazzy black and silver ones I take it?"
Liz giggled as the gift basket came into view and reached for it on the mention of her beloved chocolate.
"Def mum is so the word...just the like boid..." she thought a moment. "You soooo doooo know the longer T'Grav ties me up here...the more damage this Chorus is gonna do..." She clicked her tongue some.
"The more attention to the Salvation ruins its soo gonna draw...and anything left standing in those ruins..."

Arak nodded sagely. "I've got enough pull around these parts to make sure that you aren't going to jail. The only question is how fast we can get you out of these seemingly endless hearings. Maybe I could..." his face sours "Talk to T'Grav myself about it."
"And yes... all black, silver band. Avalon lacks the sort department divisions that most of Starfleet has."

Liz nodded all professional once more. "Careful sir...they want something more out of all of this. This T'Grav has a diff agenda than they one her set up for supper..." She smiles slyly some. "Besides though I might need your help as well...I think a very powerful ... presence will speak out for me if they over play their hands..." She grins impishly.
"And he is a very good pouncer when it comes to his stalked prey." She looks at the Admiral. "Though you might want to meet with him anyways...maybe get a feel for what he is truly after."
Liz nodded once more, "I do recall, care to share? "
"and to which I might be going into?"

Arak nodded. "Personally, I think T'Grav is an ass. Frankly, I'm ready to mark you as classified and hustle you out to Starbase 33 at a moment's notice. I really want to get to work on this Chorus issue. It's just a disaster waiting to happen."
Arak considered her second question. "Nyx Division, which is Field Operations. You could think of it as a blend of science and engineering disciplines."
