The internet seems to be packed with Star Trek pages. Because, you can't be a true Star Trek fan unless you go completely over board. The discussion of Vulcan names in the chat box made me think of this blog that mostly talks about Vulcan language and culture. KirsharaIt does have an extensive discussion of Vulcan naming. I can't guarantee how canon all the information is, but it makes for an interesting read anyway. Sorry if this is something that has been posted previously. My memory is terrible.

Personally I think the only real way to RP Star Trek is to go completely over board. Unlike characters whom exist in the world, we merely play characters of that world; thus we cannot know nearly as much as they do such as how a 'Heisenberg Compensator' truly works or how Judy at Starfleet Medical always has a weird scent to the Vulcans that the humans cannot seem to detect. We have to make these things up to flush out the world and make it seem /real/, albeit comical in the latter's case! A+++++ resource, Spence~! Edit: Where I got Sovek's name: LinkI saw "Wa’maf-tor Snovekh. — Snovek sobs.", removed the N, and got Sovek. My idea was that Sovek's parents named him thusly as his penmanship was masterful but had a knack for crying as a child.
