Thank you. Could have made a pm of course, but now everyone has the answer. Thats good, too! Maybe we should write thoose things down, i may be not the last new crewmember to the adagio. This way we can hand new shipmates the Adagio's SOP and ooc point to the thread with this things.

Well, some things like standard security SOP would be written down. However if the captain makes specific security instructions then the Chief of Security would merely follow the given orders at that time

Ill see that the Adagio specific ones (i.e. Bunkhouse Protocol...etc] are posted back up. They used to be but were posted by a fleet member who it seems took down his posts after he left the fleet. Give me some time and Ill get up back up.

Just for reference, the Memory Alpha Alert Signal page has links to the various "global" alerts that Starfleet uses (some of those alerts may be historical and not currently used). Every ship and officer would be familiar with these alerts, although the Adagio's unique alerts may be somewhat different (or a combination of) the standard alerts. For example, the standard "security alert" has multiple levels ranging from level 1 up to level 10 (which confined non-essential personnel to quarters, posted armed security on all decks, and armed all on-duty crew members with sidearms). The effects of security alerts ranged from active monitoring of crew location (at level 4) to automatic activation of yellow or red alerts, depending on both the severity and circumstances of those alerts. Unfortunately, not all of the levels are explicitly listed, so the specifics of each level are up for speculation.
