Takes place the morning after the events of the 11/5 Adagio episode.
Sereya stepped into the holodeck with her usual iced coffee in hand, her mind racing. She had been right about one thing; a good night's sleep did her well, at least during the moments when she actually got sleep. She was sure that a good quarter of the night had been devoted to staring at the black ceiling with a myriad of potential routes of attack floating around her grey matter.
The hull fragment pulled out of Heather's Bane had been an enigma since they'd beamed it aboard, and Sereya's busy schedule hadn't allowed much in terms of deeper analysis. However, with the Sentinel getting closer and closer to the fight, she knew that all avenues had to be explored. She looked up at the black ceiling striped with yellow. "Hey, Mentor, if you're listening in and anything catches your ear, just let me know, alright? Don't be all mysterious. We're on a tight schedule as it is."
The trill took a sip of her drink before she spoke again. "Okay. Ada? Give me one Delta operative on one end of the deck, and the Chorus from the training sim that was being used last night on the other end. Using the scans I've taken of the hull fragment in Cargo Bay Three, erect a shield of identical composition around the Delta operative and simulate what would happen during an attack from the Chorus." It was a long shot and she knew it, but could the centuries of exposure to the unique properties of the Heather's Bane ion storm provide some semblance of shelter from psychic and subspace attacks?
Probably not, but it didn't hurt to try.

On another Adagio holodeck...
Sevuk enters the holodeck with Tia, walking towards the suit to once again run the simulation provided by Decia. Sevuk's Vulcan physiology had proven valuable in allowing him to repeatedly test the simulation with various partners. While not evident to a casual eye, a trained observer may notice signs of wear and fatigue beginning to affect the Vulcan. The holodeck safeties could not save the participants from the exhaustion of repeated trials and some of the wear and tear from facing the Chorus. He stops in front of it, not even looking over at Tia as he speaks.
"Are you ready for another simulation, Ms. Connelly?"

Sinez walks into Sevuk's holodeck while reading from a PADD he had brought. Stopping at the mouth of the door he looks up and nods toward Sevuk, "Hey Lieutenant, mind if I try out some of these firing solutions and specialized torps on your Chorus here? I'm trying to find the best way to effectively use various types of orbital strikes without giving our friends down below an even tougher time. Also want to determine the amount of yield I should be putting into these things to see if I can minimize reload times and keep up the rate of fire."
He slowly walks toward the interface as he awaits for Sevuk's response.

Sevuk stops getting into the armor and turns around to face Sinez.
"A logical alteration, Lieutenant. I...do not mind."

Sinez nods and taps away at the interface. "If you feel your brain going all liquid in your head from the strikes, shout out a safe-word and I'll dial the yield in these torps down to make it more manageable."
A lone tactical console appears in the far corner of the room and Sinez casually walks behind it.
"I'm good whenever you are." He snaps his fingers and points at Sevuk. "I got an idea for the safe-word... Pineapples. Yeah, just shout Pineapples if it gets too intense."

Sevuk raises an eyebrow.
"I do not believe that that the Vulcan brain responds to repeated physical damage to the cranium by liquifying, Lieutenant. Your concern is admirable...however...what is a...'pineapple'?"

He sucks on his teeth as he continues to shake his head at the man.
"Let's save that conversation for another time, ok? It's not important at the moment... Just know if you feel like it's getting too hectic for you to be able to keep on fighting, just shout out 'pineapple'. I'll dial the next strike back a couple kilos."

Sevuk looks to Tia and then back to Sinez.
"Very well Lieutenant...I will shout...pine...apple."

Lonah spent most of the morning studying the armor suits and their capabilities. An ingenious design, but it was going to take a little bit of practice to get use to it. Too bad by the time that was accomplish everything would probably said and down in regards to what the Sentinel was dealing with. Never the less, whatever they could iron out now would hopefully be a boon to them; hopefully. Considering their opponent, her optimism was not all that high. Perhaps she was just more tired then she was willing to admit.
Anyway, she heads to the holodeck to begin the next round of tests. She steps through the doors and nods to the all ready gathered officers.

Sinez nods at Lonah as she walks into the holodeck, "Evening Lieutenant. You going to participate in the simulation as well? The lieutenant here and I created a safe-word. If my bombardment gets too crazy for you to see, just shout 'pineapples' and I'll dial back the next strike to make it more manageable." He makes some quick adjustments to his solutions.
"Oh and one other thing, if he moves before my next barrage hits, try your best not to put yourselves where he once was." He offers a smile.

Lonah had to think about what Sinez just said. "Why not use adjust fire or cease fire?" Unless military doctoring had changed on bombardments, those use to be the proper phrases to use.

Sinez shrugs as he looks at her, "You call it whatever you want, I'm just trying to be useful here."

Recharges her weapons and slips her new 'sword' back into its sheath. Pausing only for a moment to wipe the sweat from her brow the small delta operative looks to Sinez and smirks.
"Just try to watch where you drop that stuff sir, it gets pretty hairy out there fighting this thing...." She readjusts and settles back into her harness. "This Chorus is a beast...and whoever program this thinks they underpowered it??"
Tia looked to Lonah. "Ready for the next run go 'Chief'?"
