Not to mention the fact that as a player I am not where near as smart as Ezri is supposed to be. And, I have zero training as a Starfleet officer. I haven't even watched all the Star Trek shows. You may not be as smart or have Starfleet training, but anyone with a Netflix account is capable of watching every single series, including the Animated Series . I completed Enterprise for the first time this year.

I have watched a lot of episodes I have just never watched any of the series all the way through and probably never will. I just don't have that kind of ambition.

That is so true Cygnus. I think that is the hardest thing about playing a science character. As a character science officers are among the most clever in the fleet. And as a player you want it to be established just how clever they are without effectively short circuiting the adventure and ruining everyone's fun by being too clever. Not to mention the fact that as a player I am not where near as smart as Ezri is supposed to be. And, I have zero training as a Starfleet officer. I haven't even watched all the Star Trek shows. I can completely relate in struggling to successfully role play a character far smarter than myself, we do not have the advantage of a triple "A" Hollywood production team to make us look good either. You are an excellent role player and writer, so let us use those strengths to help get us where we wish to be. Envision writing a story as the event unfolds and what your character can do to help that story get told. Excellent character interactions and dialogs, dramatic tension, etc. I will even give an example from our last event. The start was a little rocky, but I soon recognized Kitty set up an environmental threat for tension, then later introduced the Kzari which we have a more adversarial relationship with as the key element for tension and player agency. You all got to see what I did as Shantal's player. All guided by trying to help Kitty present the best story she could and actively involving as many player characters as I could, while keeping the key plots points in clear focus and staying true to Shantal's character nature. We do not have to be rocket scientists to create a great interactive and continuously growing story together.

If you wanted to watch more Trek, just pick one episode a day, maybe start with TNG and work your way up through Voyager. They don't need to be in any particular order unless you want it to be. Personally, I would advise against TOS at all, but at the very least skip "The Cage". It's technically canon, but the information in that episode is so far out there that it doesn't really count.

I let it slide at Bajor but dont let me catch you creating any more "subspace rifts". They would be considered banned under the second Khitomer Accords since it was used as a weapon.

Ezri: Swallows nervously, "I am sorry admiral ma'am. I swear I didn't know it was illegal. Please don't put me in jail."

Weren’t the Khitomer Accords cancelled in STO? "I like how you think sir! Will you be my lawyer and keep me out of space jail?"

Weren’t the Khitomer Accords cancelled in STO? The Khitomer Accords have been nullified at least twice in DS9 alone. Yes, they weren't in effect during the war, but we're allies again. Besides that, weapons like that are likely banned under Federation Law anyway. The Varon-T Disruptor was banned, and it was far less volatile and destructive.
