Section 01 – Out Of Character:
(All these questions are to be answered as the player)
Part A: Player Specific Questions
1.) What is your user handle (ex: Nyoko@GolbezLunar)?
Tenkai@guydandy
2.) What time zone are you in?
CST
3.) How many hours do you play a week?
Never really considered it honestly.
4.) What are your typical play times; (Days and Times)?
Usually everyday, mostly in the late afternoon and evening.
5.) What is your age?
26
6.) Are you a boy or girl?
Boy
7.) Are you an active forum user? (Highly Recommend that you are.)
Ehh, I check forums for information, but I don't actually post much if it's not necessary.
8.) Do you like to write Stories, Log Entries or Design LCARs jpegs?
Writing is always a fun outlet for me.
9.) Are you willing to work with Game Masters as an authority over storylines?
Sure thing, in fact, I encourage such, after all, if you can't reread a story after you've written it, it's a waste of everyone's time.
10.) Are you subscribed to the Daedalus OOC Channel?
Eventually.
11.) What kind of subscription do you currently have? (Optional)
Lifetime
12.) How did you hear about us?
The Official Forums
13.) Are you willing and able to put our guilds information in your Character Bio?
Depends on how you want me to.
14.) Do you understand the Activity Policy?
Indeed, shouldn't be too much trouble, but a little slack for those times when absence can't be helped would be appreciated.
15.) What is the best way to contact you?
MSN usually works.
Part B: Role Playing Experience Questions
1.) What does the Term "IC-OOC Separation” mean to you?
Never take what happens to your character personally. All good stories have plenty of conflict between characters, it's what livens them up, no need to ruin some juicy storyline because that character/player line is too blurry.
2.) What is the difference between the term Player and Character?
Player = Me, Character = That poor graphic getting shot at by all those hostile aliens
3.) What is Meta-gaming?
Annoying for one, leads to Mary Sues and Gary Stus. Having your character suddenly know things they have no reason or business knowing and using them within the RP is one example, completely burying another player in a choreographed battle/conflict is another.
4.) What are Action Brackets? (:: :: | - - |* *| )
Wonderful things that help with the legibility of your written text to help denote actions and thus cause less confusion for everyone else reading it.
5.) How long have you been playing Star Trek Online?
Just started back up from before, so all together, a few months, never check that number honestly.
6.) How long have you role played in general?
Sometimes I think too long, but I'll say around nine years.
7.) What was your last role playing experience?
A couple of days ago, on Champions Online, nothing real grandiose, but still productive and in-depth
8.) What are your expectations of this fleet?
Hopefully a place to have fun really, I mean, I find role-play within an MMO really enhances the game experience.
9.) What will you bring to this fleet?
I have good instincts when it comes to making stories make sense, as well as a good idea of build/heat/pop, and a decent sense of humor, but I leave judgment of those, especially that last one, up to everyone else.
10.) How do you feel about PVP?
If it serves a purpose storyline wise, sure, any other time I find it to just be pointless.
11.) What difficulty do you typically play Star Trek Online on?
Normal, you gain nothing extra with the increased difficulty, so I don't bother.
12.) Do you understand that all role playing is conducted locally?
Works for me.
13.) Do you know how to roll dice on Star Trek Online? (If so what is the command?)
/e Rolldice
14.) Do you have experience with Star Trek Role Play?
None at all, so this will be a learning experience for me, which I look forward to.
15.) Do you have alts in other fleets? (If so which fleet are we sharing you with?)
Nope.
Section 02 – OOC Character Inquiry:
(All these questions are to be answered as player about the character you wish to play. It is best that you review daedalusomega.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rphandbook before answering.)

9.) What kind of commission does your character have? (Enlisted, Petty Officer, or Officer)
Officer.
10.) Desired ship type of ship you'll be wish to be assigned too? (Tactical, Science, or Cruiser).
Doesn't matter.
11.) Please give a little background about this character.
He was always intrigue over his species stories of visiting the various galaxies in the universe, particularly those involving humans, who are said to be much like his own people once were before their evolution into the beings they are today. Desiring to see this "cousin" to his ancestors, he set out, adopted a human form for his disguise, and upon hearing that Starfleet produced some of humanities finest examples, enrolled himself, eager to see if this was truly the case.
12.) Please describe what Merit System is.

I want to be an Admiral-oh wait, I already am, so I guess I'm Casual by default.
15.) What are strengths, weakness, and flaws in this character’s personality?
Well many of what he considers strengths might also qualify as weaknesses in the eyes of others, but here goes. First is flexible mind and imagination, often times he'll find strange and sometimes downright bizarre ways to accomplish tasks he's been given, usually to the annoyance of many of his instructors, though he himself will often exclaim that you can't argue with results. Next would be his bluntness, which sometimes might serve as a reliable means of contrast for the course of action, presenting an alternate means of dealing with the situation...but will most likely just get him stern looks from his COs considering his opinion and assessment aren't always productive. Finally would be his sense of humor, as he's always willing to crack a joke or make a comment, even during the heat of the moment as he finds humor to be a effective means of stress relief. This also includes the dreaded sarcasm which is sure to rub a few people the wrong way before they get to know him better.
Section 03 – IC Character’s Personnel Recorded:
(This section must be filled out and will serve as your official personnel Starfleet Record for this character as you play in our fleet. This is the section where you can become creative and illustrate to us the character you want to play in our RP Community. Be as detailed as you can with the character's past service. BE ADVISED: In-Characterly, Fleet Command has access to all your character's files... nothing is **Classified** to them.)
"It doesn't matter, it's...what's that term the Vulcan's love...irrelevant, yeah it's irrelevant" was a common quote coming from one Tenkai Masayume when he was asked about his childhood or his parents during his years in Starfleet Academy. Despite his frankness to the point of being curt with most things, his past was one subject he never went into detail about, stonewalling about the subject continually. This infuriated many other cadets, as Tenkai wasn't hesitant about spouting out a sarcastic comment or joke about their own backgrounds. His past often times became such a hot topic, that many betting pools were established at just guessing what it entailed. Other than what many would consider an odd "eccentricity" on his part, he was known to be a student of "mediocre popularity" by one Vulcan cadet and "somewhat of a jerk" by his roommates.
His instructors often noticed he took bizarre path to his eventually graduation from the Academy, excelling at certain subjects, and flat out ignoring others, often times claiming that he "only remembered what was relevant to his interests and career" as he viewed many other things to be a waste of his mental resources. Still, despite his butting of heads with many of his teachers, even they had to admit when he put his mind to something, he was brilliant. Still, it was a rocky four years, and despite earning honors and distinction in Forensic Psychology, Earth History, Anatomical and Forensic Pathologies, Advanced Hand to Hand Combat (noted to be quite adept with a Bat'leth as well), Survival Strategies, and Tactical Analysis, Tenkai himself even said "I think I was "forced" to graduate if just to get me the hell out of there" and later joked after having completed Advanced Tactical Training that the instructor "probably didn't want me to make it...sometimes in a more..."permanent" capacity."
Now he awaits his first "true ship assignment" as he likes to consider it, eager to prove himself out amongst the stars...and hoping that his future captain doesn't examine his personal record too closely and that his numerous infractions during his cadets years weren't recorded with too much detail.
