//BEGIN TRANSMISSION//
//Attention Starfleet Command
While the Pharian Empire is still a relatively new contact to the Federation, their similar goals and interests have made them quick allies. The Pharian Monarch, in an effort to strengthen the alliance with a show of good will, has encouraged many Pharian youths to enlist in Starfleet, and recently has ordered a small transfer of personnel from the Imperial Forces to serve in Starfleet as well. While Starfleet was apprehensive at first, this has proven beneficial for both sides, as the Pharians have brought with them new and innovative tactics and training.

/Training
[Tertian's Reach Training Facility] - Basic Combat Training
[Katachan Combat Station] - Close Quarters/Extreme Environment Training
[Firebase Korgrim] - Munitions/Field Engineering Training
[Starfleet Academy] - Starfleet Cadet Training
/Service History
Warhawk, Sentinel-class Frigate
Commander's Note: While his fur is still wet, Kel'Dune is an excellent officer. His lineage is a proud one and he does his family honor. Aside from a single altercation with one of the senior officers, I've had no problems with him and am happy to have him aboard.
Guardian, Scythe-class Interceptor
Commander's Note: Justicar Kel'Dune is a quiet man, so it's sometimes hard to gauge him accurately. He tends to keep to himself, but I've come to rely on his advice more than I would've thought. For a mere Justicar, he has an outstanding talent for tactical appraisal and his technical skills are little short of astounding. The man is surely blessed by Volkus and it is with both great pride and sadness that I recommend him for the Starfleet Exchange. Much as I'd hate to lose him, if we're to put our best paw forth to the Federation, he's an excellent candidate.
***Transferred to Starfleet Service***
USS Fenrir, Centaur-class Frigate
Captain's Log: I'm not quite sure what to make of Ensign Kel'Dune. I've never seen a Pharian before and to be honest, I find him a little intimidating. He's got a sort of quiet intensity that puts even my Vulcan crewmen ill-at-ease. I've noticed he tends to eat alone and doesn't socialize much. Still, I can't question his ability or discipline. Aside from making some of the crew nervous, he's been an exemplary addition to the crew.
First Officer's Log: It's certainly been an eventful week. The Borg attack on Vega really rattled some cages. It's hard to believe Captain Breeman and the rest of the senior officers are dead, but Ensign Kel'Dune was promoted to Lieutenant and now commands the Fenrir for his actions during the battle. I'm a little nervous serving under him, as I'm not sure it's wise to give a Pharian command of a Starfleet vessel, but he's proven himself capable, if nothing else. I don't like that he doesn't talk to me much, but from what I've read about them, Pharians don't share a lot with people they don't know, so maybe I'll just have to wait it out.
Cerberus, Excaliber-class Cruiser
First Officer's Log: Well, time has proven me wrong about the Pharian. Lieutenant Kel'Dune certainly earned his commission and it's been an honor serving as his First Officer. Since we've been put on this new ship, he's gone back to his old, quiet self, but I think he's just adjusting to the new systems. Once we know our way around the new ship, maybe we'll have time to play Velocity on the holodeck again! I do worry about him, though. It's taken me months to get him to open up, but I think I'm the only friend he's got here. Maybe it's a Pharian thing, I don't know, but he needs to get out of the Big Chair more often, I think.
