Well, I was lucky enough to aquire one of these beauties on my first box. Needless to say, i got very excited and headed right to the nearest shipyard to check her out...
I named mine the U.S.S. Solidarity NCV-392532-E. I checked out all the custimization options... not much there, just hull material, 2 window options (just the frames for the 2 big windows on the dorsal side of the ship), and basic trim options like any other. Wasnt impressed with the options, but it is a beautiful ship when seen from space.
Next i visted the new exclusive Bridge. This is where i think it falls short... way short. The bridge looks basic and rushed, very small. It has the same layout as the one seen in the Voyager episode, but for some reason it feels like its missing detail... carpet, railing, wall extras... something. its very bland to me. idk, it may just be me. The one plus I can give this Bridge is that it has true-to-screen animated TCARS displays and consoles... just like in the episode! Very cool.
The ship comes equiped basic Mark 4 shields, engines, and deflector. Distinguishing equipment that it possess are 4 Mark X Antiproton Beam Arrays, 2 Mark X Chroniton Torpedo Launchers, and a unique special power console called the Tipler Cylinder... which i so a rip off of GalaxyQuest. ;D
All in all i think its a nice ship and could present some fun RP scenarios at some point in time (pun intended). Wish the Bridge was more fleshed out but other then that i cant complain seeing as i spend far less money on it now then i would have if it was a C-Store ship.
