Cyberpunk 2077cyberpunk.net/Their announcement and intent video There are few titles I watch as closely as I watch this one..it touches on my favorite fiction genre and is a role playing game, done by a studio dedicated to making quality role playing games. CD Projekt RED. a Teaser trailer... The teaser shows how the Psycho Squad might acquire a new member.
The Psycho Squad specializes in combating "psychos" -- individuals who overuse implants and substances that boost or otherwise alter the human body.
There comes a point when they overdose on these innovations, and their bodies start to rebel against their biological body parts as well as all things organic around them. Simply put, they start killing people, who they now derisively call "meatbags."
When a psycho goes on the rampage, strange things can happen. There's carnage, and the psycho might be taken down by regular police, but they're not always able to get the job done.
When things spin out of control, they call in MAX-TAC (Maximum Force Tactical Division), popularly called the Psycho Squad.Xaelei (and the demoness) is very much cyberpunk inspired. She struggles with her nature, both human and inhuman, and her past while trying to maintain a new and difficult path toward change and redemption... And the song... Bullets by Archive

This is one of those properties that hit me in a weird way. I've watched the teaser trailer about a dozen times since it came out despite the fact that almost nothing happens and there's no sign of gameplay. Not only that, I have a system that I know won't be able to run it since it can't even run the first Witcher... and yet it just hits me in a way I haven't felt in ages.
It possibly helps that it's based on the roleplaying universe I saw in Cyberpunk 2020, a system I used all of one time, but I read through the material and really got into it. I love a good Cyberpunk setting, and honestly Shadowrun sort of dilutes it with all of the fantasy aspects that are added in (although the SNES and Genesis Shadowrun games were both excellent).
Regardless, hopefully I manage to get myself a system that will be able to run this by the time it comes out, because it's currently got its claws into me.

News from E3: 'Cyberpunk 2077' comes out next April, and Keanu Reeves is in itGood thing that by then, I will have fully upgraded to the i9-9900K system I'm currently building. Edit: Also, if you want to pre-purchase it 10 months ahead of time, you can: Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam ($59.99), which comes with the soundtrack, a "Cyberpunk 2020 Sourcebook," digital art booklet, and wallpapers. Edit 2: Now also available for pre-purchase on GOG.COM, DRM free and (according to the GOG page for it) "100% of your money goes to CD Projekt Group." The GOG version comes with the same thing the Steam version has, but there are also some "GOG.COM-exclusive" (virtual) items, including a digital booklet (different from the one that comes with the game), wallpapers and avatars (also different from the ones that come with the game), a "print quality" poster (read: high-res image), and a 30% discount at the CD Projekt Red merch store (if ordered before 17 June 2019).

I get a Shadowrun feel from it and I've been waiting for a cyberpunk title made in this manner. While I enjoy the strategy aspect of the Shadowrun games (much like the original fallout games) I've wanted an openworld RPG adaptation that probably will never come. This definitely seems like it'll fill the bill for what I've been looking for.

Rumor has it that this game can be played in a lot of different ways. One video I saw suggested that you can even beat the game without ever getting into a fight.
