Ezri absent mindedly plays a simple little toon on the piano as she contimplates the recent events on board the Ayanami.
"Computer begin recording personal log, for Ezri Tegan."
Computer: "Log recording..."
"Truth to be told I have been starting to feel like I would go crazy with boredom. Fox has been starting to irritate me to no end with the pointless busy work he kept pushing on me. Can't he give the menial chores to his other engineers? What else are they good for? So far he sort of reminds me of Commander Ihle. Although, so far Fox has not started in with the senority and chain of command nonsense. Ihle was such a stick in the mud, with his "You will address me as Commander or sir." silliness. The man was incapable of higher order thinking. [Shrugs] Well I still hold out hope that Fox will have the mental capacity to recognize talent and not try to continue to waste it on such pointless little errands.
Now the last twentry four hours have proven to be most exciting. The ship encountered an assimilated Hirogen hunter. He came aboard in a insertion pod that was highly modified using adavanced technology. My initial examination proved to be most exciting and I can't wait to begin my investigation in ernest. However, Commander Malitzka has placed the pod in isolation and has prohibited any one from looking at it before the captain decides what to do with the thing. I swear that robot has no imagination, curiosity, or personality. Afterall, what does the captain have to decide on? I have already said it was worth looking at. Isn't that good enough? And her security staff haven't got the mental capacity to be anything but blindly obediant, so there is no getting past them. Its all so frustrating.
