After an attack by three Observer ships carrying a superweapon that ripped the Ark Royale apart, the visiting Pilgrim crew had managed to abandon ship and flee to the moon below. Having landed relatively safely on Acheron, the crew that had fled in the Captain's Yacht found themselves alone and with only the supplies in the shuttle at their disposal.Try as she might, Jill still couldn't get the sight of the Ark Royale falling in pieces out of her mind. She could hear her mother's voice echoing along with it, "Nothing good happens in space. Nothing. Humans were never meant to leave the Earth in the first place." With a shake of her head and a deep breath, the young engineer unclipped herself from the seat and checked the shuttle readouts. "Um.. well, it seems like the air's a little harsh, but we should be able to, y'know, breathe." Now that the adrenaline was wearing off, she glanced sheepishly at Calisca, who she'd bellowed at earlier, and then back to the console. "I can try to establish a com tower to find other survivors, but, well, that'll probably draw the Observers to our location." She paused for a moment. "Oh, uh, and is everyone alright?"

The burning wreck of the Ark Royal was still drifting through the atmosphere, chunks of the hull coming down like meteorites over a nearby mountain range. The crew in the Yacht could see pods still landing off in the distance. Other than that, however, the landscape of the planet was dark and bleak. Wind whipped through strange rock formations and there was a chill to the air. The gravity here was slightly lower than Earth.

Tiberius was rooting around under one of the seats of the Captain's Yacht, eventually producing a set of first aid kits. He had a few noticeable bruises on the side of his face.
"I'm a little banged up, but I'm fine. Took a face-plant into the bulkhead when that last shot hit." He held up a bright red first aid kit. "I have some medical supplies in case anyone is injured." He paused. "Anyone coming from the lower decks is probably more hurt than we are."

As the yacht made its way to the planet, Zem clung to her seat while staring out at what was left of the Ark. She tried to regain some composure while still lamenting the loss of such a fine ship. With a quick glance around the room, she finally released her grip on her seat and unbuckled herself as they landed. She moved to a nearby console and started to pull up any information the computer might have on the planet to get a better idea of the situation. She spoke over her shoulder as Jill and Tib spoke up. "Just some bumps and bruises here.." She started to say more but was at a loss considering the situation so she fell silent, beeping away at the console.

Tiberius addressed Jill and Zem.
"Can you assess the damage on the Yacht? If we could repair the warp engines, we might be able to use this to escape..."

Jill nodded faintly and glanced out the viewport again before she reached for a tricorder out of the little storage console in the back of the shuttle. Biting her lip in worry for a moment, she slowly eased the shuttle hatch open so that she could step out onto the rocky moon that they'd landed upon. The ensign wasted little time in staring; she had to keep her wits about her if any of them had any chance at all of making it out of there alive. She circled the Yacht, scanning carefully with her tricorder to make her assessment.

While Jill made her way around the outside of the shuttle, Zem remained at her console typing away. After checking over the readouts of the planet she switched her focus to the status of their ship. As she waited for the results to pop up, Zem took a moment to look skyward out the viewport, curious if she could see the banana ships moving at all and wondering if they would follow. The beeping on her console caught her attention and she started to read over the results.
