"Do not fear, Had I wanted the commander dead she would be dead. And I have no need to aid this pattern of friendship to fill itself. So far it has began splendid. And I will not interfere with it even if it needed me to, as I need a painful reminded more up to date why friends is a bad idea, regardless of what people say. The commander made me question it for a faint second so this only serves to refresh my statement.
The Cardassian smirks rather emotionless and offers some rations to the doctor

Valkriss chuckles and coughs some at the wince of pain her jerking coughing fit caused her.
"And yet...I am still here, still not dead..." Val smiled to the cardassian. "Can you imagine the suffering that might await you should i be the one to break this never ending cycle of yours?"
She looks down at the ration bar Ilya gave her and winced. "Banana and Beef....like what a combo..."
"What I wouldn't give for a bowl of black cherry ice cream right now..."

The cardassian shrugs a bit nonchalant
"If you do not die you will eventually betray me, So I can only assume you will betray me until you die, then I know you where my true friend"
she looks at the ration "It could been worse, I got some /Chicken/-whatever with some rice thing"

"Helmsman or not you did a well enough job... The internal damage; while disgruntling is not particularly critical should we be rescued in time, if my lung were punctured and not simply burned by trace elements of that acid... Well I think I'd be missing a lung." He gave a few affirmative nods, but, on the second he realised that sort of head movement was not particularly ideal and ceased it, instead, reclining into his chair as best he could.
"Well if she kills you I hope I'm next; I'm not too fond of talking to myself." This was, typically, the part in which a normal person would attach a laugh, however with Sovek it solely featured his typical indifferent stare. "I believe Starfleet Standard protocol instructs us to remain with the pod unless our situation becomes untenable... Additionally, I am not quite sure how far we'd get with the two of us as injured as we are."

Valkriss nods ever so to the pod's hatch, indicating the surface. "I saw the Ark Royal's...." she coughs up some blood in a rough coughing fit. "The Ark Royal's captain's yacht came down close to us...now more than half a dozen or so klicks from here...."
She used a part of what remained of one of her tunic's sleeve to wipe her mouth some before continuing.
"...they might start collecting all of us...otherwise i agree we need to ....sit...tight..." the blended effects of her pain killers, her body's utter exhaustion from the trauma of her wound snuck up and over whelmed her as darkness slipped over her mind once more and her head lulled to the side as eh fell off into another round of fitful sleep.

Cassandra looks thoughtful and nods at times, listening to what is going on.
"Doctor, can you not do anything? I do not think your body should behave like that, nor that the commander should cough up blood unless there are internal bleeding"
as the commander lulls off to sleep she covers her with the blanket again and keeps a close watch so she doe not choke on her own blood.

"I left my intensive care kit in the turbolift; my arm ceased to function for a time due to sheer pain and I couldn't grab it before Serris hoisted me up." The Vulcan shook his head, "She is likely in a similar position to me, coughing up blood due to blood simply being present in the lungs... Unless this pod miraculously has surgical tools, there is not much I can do, hence why we should remain still and remain here." The doctor's brown eyes slowly scanned the pod. "If there is a medical kit, I may be able to guide you through doing a minor 'repair job' over the damaged tissue, under normal circumstances I'd be rather against putting a house over a landfill but there is a risk of major internal damage..."

The doctor turned his head slight, pursing his lips to muddle pain and uncertainty. "Without my lab, I can only assume these are a biological compound with a remarkably low pH balance and do not hold any nefarious lingering markers on physiology... Thus you are going to want to treat these like third or higher degree burns, there should be an autosuture and dermal regenerator within the kit..." Crooking his mouth, brought his right hand up to his zipper, slowly unzipping his jacket to provide easier access to his very evident burns. "The autosuture will resemble an elongated silver device topped with an orange bobble, the dermal regenerator should bee plain enough to see." He paused, considering the situation. "On my tricorder is the information of my wound, you are going to need to make constant adjustments of the autosuture's range so that it follows the damage, you will have to take a scan of Valkriss' wound and do the same... Run it over a few times, adjusting when needed, then switch to the dermal regenerator to clean it up." As the Vulcan relaxed into his chair he shuttered his eyes and stifled a small groan from the adjustment in seating placement.

The Cardassian takes a moment to pick the mentioned tool, familiarizing herself with them and examining them before she grabs the tricorder and shuffles even closer to the doctor and begins the procedure on the now easier to access wounds. After a little while of adjusting the autosuture after the tricorders readings (Or what she thinks it is saying) she looks up to the Vulcan and asks a bit insecure "Am I doing it correctly?"

Taking a few moments to relax into it, the doctor looked over her work. "Yes, you're going to want to decrease the output as you get closer to the surface." He lifted his free arm and pointed toward the setting dial. "Gradually, if you abruptly do it there will just be a gash of unrepaired flesh."

Ilya nods as she focuses on her task, trying to be careful and precise as she continues the procedure while gradually reducing the output value while keeping up with the back and forward motion
