Xylvarenn looks very confused at the Klingon, Smiling meekly to her
"You must be the first person who recognizes my name but not that I had a male host" She blinks a few times a bit taken by the situation.
"My third and sixth host where males, so two? Euhmm... why do you ask this?"

Sinez smiles up at the ceiling as she once again stalls. His eyes filled with wonder as he continues to patiently wait.
"Mhmm yes. I'm highly intrigued now.. since this is far interesting than the.. other thing." He adds playfully.

K'Ria smiles to her after a sip from her drink. "I find your species to be fascinating...and though i have much contact with many races...in battle and not..."
"I must admit i have never met a Trill until the past few years..." She smiles wolfishly to Sin "and I am curious.."
She looks back to Xyl. "I do not mean to offend if I have..if my questions are too personal tell me to mind my own buisness...I will admire that..."
"I do not know much about you personally Lieutenant...but do admire your work...and that of Doctors Rendino and Razzor...I have an interest in science...n temporal physics to be exact..."
"However my family is a warrior house...so my training was largely focused in battle...so your name is known to me on what i have taught myself from such studies."
She reaches out to take Sins hand a moment and smirks with a wolfish grin still not answering his question as she politely waits for Xy to answer her.

Xylvarenn looks a little lost for words for a moment, taking a sip of her drink to hide it and give her some extra seconds to think of her reply
"Euhmm... It is okey, you may ask. Few questions are to personal when one gets this old. Doctor Rendino and Commander Razzor are absolutely brilliant... Euhmm... But do not forget the part Commander Arnimane played in the initial part of Project Magellan." Therese looks a way for a moment, very much leaving it unsaid how that part included terrifying a certain Trill. a light blush forms on her cheeks as she takes another sip of her drink"
"Temporal science is a fascinating area, it is a shame so many rejects it and forms a distaste for it out of fear, or failure to comprehend it. I have meet very few who appreciate it since I transferred out of my posting in the Sol system. I have some good reading on the subject if you want and euhm... if you have questions and such I will be happy to try to answer"

K'Ria nodded. "I do not, I am sad to say Commander Arnimane's work....her papers are a bit beyond my understanding given how little formal education I have on the subject of Temporal and quantum Physics..." She chuckled.
"As are Commander Razzor's, I had a chance to meet her once on Starbase 220...where she sat down with me and answered many of my questions...however she is not easy to understand...I am unsure what language she speaks...it appears to be Federation standard...but some of the things she says..." K'Ria shakes her head. "It is beyond me...way beyond me ability to understand her....but it is very clear to me the level of passion she has for her work."
She looks over to Sin for a moment, finding his gaze and holding it as she smiles gently as she listens to Xy continue.
K'Ria looks back to her now at her mentioning of material on the subject.
"You would do such a thing? Offer to help me with understanding this?" Her eyes now show genuine excitement, almost childlike in nature as Xy offers to help her with a field of study that has long since fascinated her.
"I would love to do so very much...please any reading material you might suggest would be very helpful! I am trying to get a temporary transfer to the Allied research team on the Citadel...so anything that might help me to do so I would appreciate."
K'ria things a moment taking a sip of her drink as she runs a fingers over the back of Sin's hand as she holds it gently.
"Okay, here we go then...Technically, quantum theory is actually the theory of any objects isolated from their surroundings Yes?" She draws a deep breath. "I have then wondered that, because it is very difficult to isolate large objects from their environments, it essentially becomes a theory of the microscopic world of atoms and sub-atomic particles. Which I believe is especially true for those parts of the theory of Quantum and Temporal Physics which rely on the absolute indistinguishability of fundamental particles, an indistinguishability which is impossible to find in the everyday world of composite, large-scale objects...thus given this..."
She clears her throat, "Bow is such a thing counterbalanced when such an object is eventually truly isolated and transported through time itself...say in the use of the Starfleet 'slingshot' maneuver which sends such an object back in time, while remaining within the same area of space?"
"Would this not cause the theory of Quantum mechanics to break down in essence ...and if it does....what are we left with?"

Sinez eyes widen greatly at the jargon. He glances at Xyl some then switches over to K'ria. Looking her up and down to ensure that it's truly her.
"What.. the..." he says looking completely stupified.

K'Ria blinked and looked over to him at his reaction. She shifted uncomfortably in her chair and snarled some and met his gaze.
"What?!" She challenged. "Can I not be interested in science as a warrior?"
"Do you think less of me now?" She said with a dark fierce growl, mostly to cover up and hide her now very real concern that Sinez might see this as a weakness in her and deem her an unworthy potential mate now.

He blinks and looks at her intently. He pauses a moment in an effort to calm things a bit.
"Not at all. You can be interested in whatever your heart wishes. Caught me off guard, never did expect you to pull that deep of a question out the blue."
He grabs her by the hand and leans closer to make his next bit across.
"Do I think less?" He looks up at the ceiling and shakes his head some before returning his gaze on her. "Absolutely not. You should've seen your face just now. You got a real interest in the subject. I'd never think lowly of someone who has a real genuine interest in something they love and are making an effort in pursuing it."
He picks her hand up and kisses it.
"That pedestal that you were standing on just got bigger... believe me."
He leans back and looks at them both.
"Please.. I'll keep quiet and the two of you can continue the conversation."

K'Ria blinks as she listens to him, her fierce front slipping some as he continues...
She shivers a little as he keeps her gaze and draws nearer. Her eyes flare impressed by his directness, her concerns melting away now as he continues. She feels her heart leap a little faster now as she realizes he completely understands! Her eyes flare with a wild excitement and joy as he kisses her hand.
K'Ria smiles more now, her heart pounding as she realizes in this fight as with everyone up to now, he is standing right beside of her. She squeezes his hand tightly and lifts it up to nips its back wt her fangs softly before letting it go as he sits back.
"You need not remain silent Sinez, I would be happy if you joined us in this discussion..." She then sits back as well, and decides he has earned the answer to his question.
"I have also only been planetside for a few hours, I was assigned the watch for the first few days after challenging my Captain's views on how our planetside operations should commence during our exploration efforts in the Large Magellanic Cloud..." She smirks some impishly.
"I won him over to see it my way...but I had to pay a price to let him keep face to the rest of the senior staff."

He studies her for a moment before his gaze slowly drifts over to the table with a soft chuckle. "No, I'd rather not join in that discussion.. I heavily relied on the help of a friend during my time at the academy when we attended an introduction course."
He takes a quick sip of his juice and he looks over at her with a playful look on his face.
"You told your Captain to refrain from shooting first at mysterious hovering objects I'm assuming? Also wow, Xyl would you listen to this? She's been here for a couple days! Probably even used her ship's sensors to find the highest concetration of trills in the area.." He smirks.
"Oh I'm never going to forget that away mission.. ever..I'm taking that with me everywhere I go now." He laughs.
He leans closer again and reaches underneath the table to pat at her thigh after he teases.
"Just try not to completely raid her collection on the subject... I bet she's pretty fond of all those readings." He looks over at Xyl. "Give her the most difficult reading you have... along with some beginner stuff as well... you know, since we're being all nice and everything."

Xylvarenn watches the two being adorable together, how the brave Klingon seems afraid having been cough having interest in science, and how Sinez as always been a charmer about it. she slowly sips her drink, thinking of how to put down the answer to a level where it is more comprehensible to a person who does this as a hobby, and not work. Eventually she looks up, looking much more sure of herself. This was her home field after all.
"Okey, So Quantum mechanics is... or rather was indeed once upon a time the study of an individual object, usually no larger then an atoms, isolated state without their surrounding. Notice here quantum field theory is a part of quantum mechanics, a important part, but they are not the same thing. However an important part that is often forgotten about is that quantum mechanics it is also about relationships between energy particles, atoms and so on. The most widely known of these cases is quantum entanglement, that nearly everyone knows of by name thanks to quantum entanglement communications. Yet few understand what it truly is."
"In essence Quantum entanglement is when a relationship between two entities are so connected that they can not be truly described without each other, Usually this occurs within a limited area. however it is not at all necessary. Quantum entanglement can be trough vast distance or time. and many have used quantum entanglement to physically describe the actual physical consequence theory in some parts of the act of changing the timelines, how an action in the timeline manifests to another state of a timeline instantaneously, despite the strings of temporal fabrics divergence. Now I will of course give you some reading on this subject as this is one of the most important things to understand to go deeper on this question."
"So with this knowledge of how QE allows relationships and bond to be made and researched, we can within this realm also find the very vague relationships that would in the end make up... say a ship. And like you say it is indeed -very- hard to do this on something large. However, it is not impossible. When we use warp, we create a field around a ship to maintain what is inside it, as we rip it out of the "standard physical existence" and place it in a state where trough subspace the exact composition of the ship, and anything in that bubble for that matter, can be sent trough different "rules" of physics as we change what sort of "Di mention" we chose to adhere to the laws of. In this case Subspace allows for different things then regular space. And it is this fact that is the core of our entire civilization. "
"As long as you are fully within a warp bubble when it forms, it is only a question of how large the bubble can be created that determines how large an object... or in different words, how many atoms in a particular state, that can be changed. the change in this example being space to subspace transfer. And whatever is outside is not exactly severely harmed by this bubble being removed from its existence temporarily. Now if one is both inside and outside a warp bubble once warp is engaged... say that the safeties does not work in this abstract. It is a very messy situation."
"So I hope part of your question here can be answered by "simple" warp theory. In the areas of how you remove a collection of atoms and maintain their positions from one space and put it in another space. Temporal mechanics has a lot in common with warp physics. While this is a very nice abstract to use for explaining, it has a lot of practical truth to. Generally when we intentional time shift something ,we either approach it like a warp travel, or a transporter operation. with... a lot of more layers to it"
"With this I hope to highlight how even if it is perhaps not quantum mechanics as we think of it, It has not broken down, just needed a whole new set of rules and extensions. and of course, Temporal physics is its very own area, and we have nto even touched that. But -when- eventually quantum mechanics with all of its many many sub-areas becomes to vague or conflicting, we have the entirety of temporal physics to help us. but that is an advanced next step"
Therese looks at the Klingon, having explained her mini lecture with great passion and joy
"Does this help answer your questions, or do you have other questions?"
