So I recently moved my apartment. I unpacked my computer, checked all the internal connections, but it won't POST. The lights on the USB mouse and keyboard pulse on and off. This indicates to me that it's probably a PSU problem.
I made doubly sure to check the connection to the motherboard and GPU from the PSU and it's all tight, nothing wiggled loose. The RAM is properly seated as well.
I'm about to go get a replacement PSU, but does anyone have anything I might not be thinking about?

It may be worth getting a Diagnostic Card for future use. For now though, check if your PSU, case, or motherboard come with any kind of diagnostic signals. If so, they may help narrow down the problem too. Also, check to make sure that your processor hasn't been dislodged. You may want to remove the fan/heatsink and reapply thermal compound too, just to make sure the processor is in place and getting proper heat management. You may want to disconnect everything (any disk drives, hard drive, even pull the memory and any cards out), leave only the motherboard and the processor plugged in. Also disconnect all USB devices, leave only a monitor connection. See if you get anything at all on the screen. Lastly, make sure that both the primary plug (24 or 32-pin, depending on the motherboard) AND any extra power cables (some mobos have an extra 4-pin connector for power) are connected. Oh, and make sure that it's not the wall socket, the power strip, or anything else leading up to the computer.

I'm going to try taking it completely apart and putting it back together again. I guess it's a possibility that the PSU is bad but all things considered, that would be one hell of a coincidence.

Did you make sure its not in a plug that's attached to a light switch or dead plug hehe?
