[DGM NOTE] This thread will be for those who feel inspired to post some thematic music for what we are all about to face. Help us set the mood for the grim yet pulse pounding cross ship event the next two week! Please keep it in the spirit of the event but have fun with it and share what you might be thinking of our listening to during the siege of Bajor!

This is Talia's for tonight...right after she hears the warning order and moments before ordering the crew returned and in my mind the scramble to prepare was slow motion around her as she looks to a holographic showing the LMC. Vowing inwardly to return...
...once their job was done.
A nice little contrast the usual loud energetic score of some Hollywood blockbusters, for me it catches the somber feeling of a warrior veing called back to the front...even as she promises in her heart to return to where she feels they were making a great difference in exploring and building hope for a galaxy of people who are without it...
Talia in a soft whisper to the holo-map's image...
"The Keth will Return..."
-hugs all-

I think we should take a page or two from Battlestar Galactica and the music composed by Bear McCreary.
In my opinion this song fits the situation the best. War is coming, many will die and the lives on board all ships will change one way or another.
This is also an amazing piece of music for the situation. The setting being just before a battle or attack and the tensions are rising.
And maybe this as we think about the LMC. (lyrics in the comment section give the right meaning)

Bore once again made sure everything is as safe as it can be from blowing up in the engineering crew's faces again. He stopped to look at his reflection in the screen of a turned-off console, frowning. "Listen here, you pathetic excuse of a man." He hisses out at himself quietly. "This is the one time in your life you can choose to either be the useless trash you've always been, or try to make a difference." He closed his eyes, imagining the fleet that would face them, his mind conjuring up the most terrifying thoughts. He opens his eyes and sets his jaw. His choice had been made.
Valerie is reading up on all the previous encounters with the Tzenkethi, her eyes narrowing.
"Zis is it, zen. War. Real war..." She stands up to look out the windows of her office, noticing a Defiant-class ship joining the battlegroup on the way to Artesia. Valerie fixes her shoulderpads a bit. The Tzenkethi lacked one very important thing the federation had, though. Compassion. She didn't want war, oh no. But Valerie would not fight for herself, but for all the people down on Bajor. And the Tzenkethi will wish they never crossed her path.

This piece of music was played as on Bajor and a dozen other worlds hundreds of thousands of Hur'q vessels rose from beneath their surfaces and rose up into orbit

For dramatic effect, we used this as the DS9 alert as the Hur'q closed in on the station!
It says ten hours, but K made the Kitty stop after only one minute and 13 seconds for trying to see how long the Kitty could play it

Some may have "heard" a song always playing in the background of these events as a rallying cry to inspire everyone to remain stalwart in their beliefs and efforts in this battle, and beyond...
