Wow. It's been how many years now and you're still giving the poor spoonheads crap. Still, it's a thing of beauty, thanks for fulfilling the request

I am really sure you are going to be the winner of the coming zombie apocalypse. Hardly... that's actually a pretty small collection. Not a bad collection, but it's not huge.

Well sure but those are some intimidating looking anti-zombie boom sticks. And, unless your strength score is really high how many guns can you really carry at once?

That’s awesome. I fucking love guns. I think my next one will be a Glock 40 10mm.

Why the odd 10mm size, well least seems like an odd size to me.

Why the odd 10mm size, well least seems like an odd size to me. Ive always wanted a 10mm because it’s such a powerful round but the usual complaint is recoil. Like even the middle of the road 10mm loads have more energy than an over pressure 45. The Glock 40 is a longside 10mm that supposedly can shoot this round with very little recoil at all.

Make sure you handle one before you buy Koss. Glocks are reliable and accurate enough but I HATE the ergonomics on them. I was issued a glock 21sf when I was a police officer (small frame anyone tells you the sf stands for special forces they are a turd) while I could shoot well with it I had to be purposeful and take my time with it since for example on a quick draw from holster and fire I had to be cognizant that with the glock since it fits my hand weird it would be canted left maybe 5 degrees on presentation. Id probably just get a 1911 or some other steel framed gun if I wanted a 10mm since weight is whats killing the recoil the most. Lastly all handguns terminal ballistics suck so if you want to shoot something a lot 10mm is expensive and i'd avoid it. Theres a reason the FBI dumped 10mm pretty fast its expensive and the rounds they ended up using where watered down to 40S&W territory anyways (which is most commercial ammo these days). I'll stop there before I go on a rant about 40S&W being a answer to a question no one asked . PS: Even the "I need it 4 da bears!" line that's often said with 10mm is a bit of a red hearing www.ammoland.com/2018/02/defense-against-bears-with-pistols-97-success-rate-37-incidents-by-caliber/#axzz5Ev6OKrdb

Glock are a mixed bag for me. I've shot plenty of Glocks before and always felt like there was something wrong with the grip angle. My daily carry is a Sig P238, which has the same grip angle as a 1911 and I love it. (It's basically a Colt Mustang, but made by Sig.)
I could live with a Glock, but part of the reason I want it is the huge market for aftermarket parts. I want to really customize this gun. And the new Glock "MOS" system seems fun. I'd definitely put a reflex sight on it.
10mm has its pros and cons. I've shot it in other, smaller guns and the recoil is manageable but it does start to hurt after you've shot a lot of rounds. Apparently the Glock 40 doesn't have that issue. Yes, 10mm is more expensive than other ammo but not by all that much. You can get Sellier & Bellot 10mm for maybe ten cents a round more expensive than a 9mm. And one benefit is that Walmart might actually have some 10mm ammo in stock. (lmao)
I have a controversial confession, though - I prefer the recoil of .40 S&W to 9mm. I feel like 9mm pops, while 40 pushes. If I was going to buy another carry gun, it would probably be in 40 just because of how it feels. Of course, nothing beats the convenience of my pocket 380, so I'm going to be sticking with that for a while.
