Billie Jo stood on the balcony sipping a warm cup of chamomile tea. She looked out at the night sky over Suraya bay on Risa. The planet's twin moons cast a glow over the bay. And there was a wonderful briny smell coming in off the cool ocean breeze. She felt a profound sense of peace. But, in the back of her mind, she couldn't escape the feelings of loneliness. She tried not to think about that though. She tried to focus on the positive. She took a long sip of her tea. And took in the sights, sounds, and smells of Risa. This was as close to heaven as she was ever going to get, she thought.

As she stared out across the lovely vista of Risa, she is taken into a wam protective embrace from behind. A strong yet very familar embrace, a chin gently coming to rest on her shoulder and a voice known all to well to her.
"Hey there you."

Aria stepped off the transporter platform after rematerializing before pausing to take a deep breath in and survey her surroundings. A smile slowly crept across her face. Risa was a beautiful planet even if it did hold some bittersweet memories. After soaking it all in she began the short trek to the room she had made arrangements for. However, the Orions path was soon blocked by a local offering horga'hns to all the new arrivals. Aria bristled at first and began to open her mouth to rebuke his offer before she froze. She was single now, and the planet would be full of people that wouldn't have the same complications as a fellow shipmate might... maybe she should get one just in case. Her mind made up Aria gingerly accepted the small statue and finished an otherwise uneventful trip to her quarters.
Aria made her rounds inside the room checking everything before placing the statue on her table and tossing her bag onto her luxurious and oversized bed before she went to inspect the key feature. A large balcony with a view of the ocean Aria beamed and closed her eyes enjoying the feeling of the sea breeze washing over her. Memories of Li be damned she was going to enjoy this trip. Like a woman on a mission, she retreated back inside and began prepping for the first thing she had planned for this trip.
A short while latter Aria emerged from her quarters. The Starfleet uniform and the tight ponytail that was a normal part of her attire where both gone. Replaced with a bikini smaller than she'd normally venture to wear and her hair left to its own devices wild and free to dance about in the breeze. A towel draped over her shoulder completed her ensemble, as she walked barefoot out onto the beach enjoying the feeling of the sand between her toes. Aria smirked as she tried to ignore the rubbernecking occurring around her as she made her way to a sunny, unoccupied section of the beach, set up her towel and laid prone. It had been too long since she felt the sun and not some artificial light upon her skin and that was something she was going to rectify. Aria squirmed for a bit getting comfortable for a few moments before snaking one of her arms behind her back to untie her top leaving risa's sun an unobstructed path to kiss her back. Aria knew the UV index was insufficient to cause tan lines to her green skin but still, it felt good bathing every inch she could get away with in the suns golden rays.
With that task, completed Aria began the second task she had planned for the day and let herself slip into a midday nap.

"Hey there you."
Billie Jo did not even so much a flinch at the unexpected touch. It was as if she had been expecting it the whole time. As Morgan wrapped his arms around her she merely submitted to the warm protective embrace.
She smiled, "Hey there yourself. I think the evening is just about perfect now." she replied.
She stared off into the distant moonlight Risian sky. The previous feelings of loneliness gone now. The evening was indeed complete now.

Veeri sighed with a small smile as she walked past the crowds of people, some of their gazes being caught by the hickeys still on her. She probably should have got them removed, but she wanted to keep them as a memory as long as possible. Veeri should have taken the older trills' advice earlier.
Then again, she was still a bit confused by her own behaviour. Of course, Varel had really hurt her with her words, but she didn't really offer any resistance, or given any thought to it when that amazing woman started working her magic... was Veeri really like that? Maybe she was not even fit to be in a relationship, maybe she was better suited at being a plaything...
"Don't ruin it for yourself like that, Veeri..." She thought, smiling to herself as more memories rush in... the feeling of helplessness, and need... and all the other ones... but most of all, the feeling of being somebody else's, and not having any faults or responsibilities, just doing what she was told... after the act, and the wonderful way she had been helped down from the rush of different emotions overwhelming her, the trill had felt wonderful, in a way that she could not quite comprehend.
Veeri sat herself down at a random café, flicking through the menu, looking for something to drink. Something caught her eye as she did that. A couple walked past her, exiting the cafe. One of them stood on her tiptoes to kiss the other, a vulcan's cheeks quickly, and the corners of the vulcan's mouth twitched upwards for the smallest moment. Veeri smiled at that, but silently returned to her own thoughts.
Varel was always so controlling and on top of it all, and so coldly calm and confident, it made Veeri mad and made her feel as safe as possible at the same time. Yet, there was something she had gotten to experience, and that was the... care she received. She felt safe, not useless, and happy. Would Varel even be able to give that? Even if something happened, would it just make way for a whole plethora of other issues? Was it worth it?
Veeri shook her head, smiling pleasantly at the waiter as she ordered. Once the man left, she continued on musing, smiling a bit to herself. At least, she had offered herself to Ma'am Famke, if she is ever desired again during the leave. And as it turned out, it was good having a more... distracting outlet. Veeri relaxed back into the chair. Shore leave seemed much more agreeable, with some pressure taken off... maybe she should check the bonfires out soon.

Val sat on the beach, playing with Silver Pretty Pony PADD. She was making adjusts to her latest project that would hopefully bring a few hours of fun. At least it will for herself. She based most of it around transporter and replicator technology and how to best use in it a safe and exciting way. Carry the signal and reproduce it in an area. Sure, she could have used regular replicators, but that would take too long. No, she was building a ship, and she was not going to settle for the holodeck.
"Adjust the harmonics. Check the power ratio equations. Recheck the rematerialization diameters, so it doesn't pop in the size of a skyscraper... there! All set." She climbs to her feet and uses the ship targeting computer to find the proper location for her project ship. Water just deep enough so it doesn't run aground. She did want to litter the shoreline with beached ships. "Lets see if the math is correct..." She engages the program.
A transporter shimmer appears, carrying the replicator matter as it configures to the complex pattern. It should work since everything had been preprogrammed aboard the Sentinal before hand. She adjusts power flow and replication signal and with a pop, the pirate ship materializes on the water. It settles with splash and rocks. Val bites her lip as she watches the ship, hoping something did not go wrong and it sunk. A few moments go by and jumps up with a cheer. "Yeah! I did it."
Now all she had to do was get to it.
"Hrm... come on my little pony we need to find Alton to row us out there."

Alton watched the whole thing unfold from a distance, his eyes had widened and jaw had dropped the moment he saw such a ship falling down from thin air into the water. His eyes then drifted out onto the beach where he saw the very familiar betazoid and her pony walking along in the sand. He ran along the sand, closing the distance between them both in a bewildered state right up until he skidded to a stop in front of Val.
"Was, did you really just do that?!" He looked out at the huge pirate ship that was floating in the ocean.
"That is so cool!"

Elusive working with Sery did all they could to help Val with her utterly awesome creation, the little AI and her friend making sure Val got whatever she needed to build the sweet sweet pirate ship.
"Yay!" The little pony canted around Val as their work was completed. "We did it!"
She looked up at her best friend as she said they needed to go find Alton to row them out to their ship. Elusive nodded and made some alterations to her mobile emitter. Shortly after the little pony was dressed in a pirate's captain hat with a little skull and crossbones on it and a tiny eye patch. She wielded a little wooden pirate sword tucked into her black belt which was secured around her midsection.
"Arrr Aye Capin'!" First Mate Elusive announced in her little pirate voice. She looked up and spotted Alton approaching..
"Thar he blows! We have an Alton wiff us me catapin!" She says to Val and then giggles with excitement to Alton...
"I know right!!!"

Val throws her arms around Alton as he runs up to them. "Yes, this is a thing I did. Do you really like it?" She hugs him tightly. "Great! Now I need your manly muscles to row us over there.. wait, we can transport over to the ship." She turns Alton loose and says, "All right whose ready to run a pirate ship?"

Alton brightly beamed as he pulled her in close and hugged her very tightly.
"Val! You brought a pirate ship to life..I think that's pretty epic what you did! No one else can say they've done this before.." He leaned in close to peck her cheek affectionately.
"We can charge people for tour rides and stuff, make them walk the plank! Uh, have them dive off the nest from up top into the water if they want. Even swing off from the ship into the water.." His eyes widened even bigger, he had a great idea.
"Val.. maybe we should have a party on the ship with a DJ and everything! Make the inside of the ship an open area, almost like a ballroom type of thing so people can dance aboard and have fun too. Pirate business on the outside, party inside?"

Damian couldn't help but chuckle at himself while he laid there on the ground in the flower field next to Aria, he had a feeling she knew what his actual ploy was in getting her to take point and lead on throughout the cave. He didn't feel one bit sorry for ditching Tora by the bar with that unfortunate yet cute looking trill. No regrets.. but damn did he wish he brought along some water at least.. the trek up the path and on the sky bridge made him parched. He cautiously glanced at the barely recovering orion from the scary thought of clothe-napping other people.
"So.. I heard there was this natural slide that we could slide down on not far from here, it's by the waterfall if you want to head on over. Heard some pretty good things about it."

Aria perked up a smile on her face as she rolled on her side and leaned on a elbow as she looked at him.
“A natural slide huh? I didn’t know about that. Sounds neat.” With that she slowly stood up her green skin making her look like she was the field of flowers manifest in humanoid form for a moment before she began to brush her legs and back to knock off any dirt of plant bits that had stuck to her exposed skin, swimwear, or open shirt. Aria then gave him a look that she was ready to follow his lead.

He sat there a moment longer and stared at Aria, completely forgetting where he was while that imaginative hint of drool slowly dripped from a corner of his mouth. With her standing up and him realizing that time must've passed by at some point he blinked back into focus and stood up to brush himself off.
"Uhh yeah.. I heard loads of it.. lots of good stuff, water runs down some smooth formed rocks to create a natural slide.. it shouldn't be far off from our hike here." He smiled innocently at her.
He took their first steps forward again, walking away from the lovely field of flowers as he took another route out instead of entering the caves again.
"So remind me again? How long you been the chief engineer?"

Aria looked deep in thought as she pondered his question as she followed him, tapping a solitary outstretched finger on her chin.
“Two... No wait. Wow it’s um probably closer to three years now... I guess time flies hard to believe I’ve been on Pilgrim for four years now. Why do you ask?” Aria beamed as she relaxed and ran a hand through her raven hair brining some wild strands back in line.
