Title of Log: Something Forgotten?
I have a rather strange incident that I feel compelled to record in my personal log.
After treating P'Tal, I had just settled down with Cpt Mathias and Cpt Durmas at the bar when a young women approached who bore an uncanny resemblance to P'Tal.
She had the exact same facial features, though skin tone and hair color were defiantly different. I would've written it off as a coincidence except that she had the same name as my earlier patient (which I will designate P'Tal Prime in this log).
The new P'Tal though was totally different in mannerisms then P'Tal Prime and in fact was greatly offended each time I brought up even the word Romulan.
Events after this are rather fuzzy. I recall she lead me to the second floor of Quarks. I went even though Mathias was obviously quite pained that I did. He had the same puzzlement I did.
What P'Tal and I did on the second floor when we were alone is a bit of a blur. My tricorder has some readings in it's log, but I do not recall taking them.
And the readings were consistant with P'Tal Prime including the presence of the toxin. But oddly enough not the drugs I used to treat her. I'm not sure who I was scanning at the time as I totally don't recall doing those scans.
Next thing I can recall is my head down on a table incredibly exhausted. Mathias and Durmas both were trying to rouse me.
Eventually they got me to a place to sleep.
I feel like I've lost a few hours. I just can't account for them.
And I was only drinking my usual Rakt.
Another mystery.
