Lieutenant j.g (Acting) Alcar Dovan Reporting
Klingon Incident Report
USS Oregon, Centaur Class Vessel
Duty Crew:
Ensign Clev Dovan Chief Engineer/First Officer
Ensign Chohot Dovan Chief Science Officer
Ensign Ravena S'tonn Chief Tactical Officer
USS Oregon launched from spacedock shortly after mission briefing, Upon launch Engineering Officer Clev reported that residual borg technology durring the USS Khitomer Incident was discovered. Technology was interfering with navigational contronols. Sickbay was functional and its installation was completed.
Ensign S'tonn reported that shields were functional, full compliment of photon torpedoes were added and tractor beam was working according to test diagnostics. However there were minor energy spikes inside of the phaser turret.
Report recieved from Ensign Chohot reguarding oxygen scrubbers being misaligned. He advised remaining in spacedock. The Office of the Commanding Officer however wanted to make a good impression on the Fleet so we went underway. Science Officer strenuously objected against us leaving spacedock, I am noting his offical protest in this report.
Upon exiting of Sol system, deflector dish had deactivated. Operations had to perform an on the job realignment, which concluded with warp drive and navigation being restored. Interertial Dampners were however off line for most of the voyage. Several navagational errors on the part of Skipper of vessel were made and we lost the task force.
Regroup in Deep Space, upon regrouping there was an error reguarding shield power distrubution and we entered the Zone as per Fleets orders to map the area. Upon entrence three Neg'vhar class vessels decloaked and opened fire. USS Oregons hull was breached twice. USS Oregon's remaining borg technology was amputated from the rest of the vessel. CEO Dovan reports an estimated two days for full repairs at spacedock.
CEO Dovan is to be complimented for his actions, critical systems failed on a massive scale, He was able to keep systems working. CSO Dovan was also exceptional in performing duties that he had objected to performing. Ensign S'tonn is to be promoted as soon as I can manage a rank increase for myself. I also want to extend a special kudo to the EMH who performed upstandingly well considering this vessel lacks a CMO.
I assume all responsibilities for the hardships the Oregon endured durring this assignment.Skipper recomends all officers under him for commendation no matter what they end up serving in.
