Part B
1) What happens in character, stays in character. What happens our of character, stays out of character, and never the twain shall meet.
2) Player is the person behind a Character, a Character is a fictional personality in a storyline I'm interacting with through a Character of my own.
3) Using things gained in an OOC manner in an IC capacity
4) Characters denoting either emoted actions, or OOC chat depending on the combinations and usage.

Section 2
1) Sheal'Rien Tir'Caenas Val'Mirra
2) Female
3) Trill (unjoined)
4) No
5) Engineer
6) VA 1
7) Lieutenant
8) Daughter of career officers, Father still in active service, Mother retired after injuries suffered in Dominion War. Enlisted in Starfleet at age 18, showed above average aptitude for dealing with shields and weapons technology. Briefly assimilated during the Vega Colony incident, but rescued and returned to duty several months later.
9) Officer
10) No preference, time zone concerns trump all for me.
11) Quiet and reserved, Sheal'Rien (prefers to be called Tir where possible) prefers the company of machines and technology to people. An absolute genius when it comes to maximizing, modifying and tweaking tactical systems, specifically shielding and weapons, she views just about everything as a test. Highly competitive, but prefers to eschew direct personal conflict.
Since her return to duty following the Vega Colony incident she's become even more withdrawn, still suffering transient symptoms from the remaining Borg implants she carries.
12) The method for tracking IC advancement, experience and a system for determining IC promotions or punishments where necessary.
13) No
14) Casual RP, I'm here to have some fun and kick back.
15) Strengths:
Extremely focused
Fiercely loyal to crewmates
Even more protective of the ships she serves on
Weaknesses:
Not a people person
Doesn't handle borg-related humor at all well
Downright hostile in regards to Breen, Cardassians and Jem'hedar
Section 3
Name: Sheal'Rien Tir'Caenas Val'Mirra
Age: 28
Race: Trill
Rank: Lieutenant
Gender: Female
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 145 lbs.
Eye Color: Dark Blue
Hair Color: Light Blue
Build: Athletic
Distinguishing Features: Series of horizontal scars across the right side of her face, residual Borg implants on face and left hand.
Born and raised aboard Starships, Sheal'Rien, or Tir as she prefers to be called, showed an affinity for technology from an early age. It wasn't unusal for her parents, both career officers themselves, to come home to find that their little girl had stripped, tinkered with and then reassembled all manner of household items.
Despite her technical aptitude Tir wavered on her choice of career until age 18, when at her Mother's urging she applied to, and was accepted at Starfleet Academy. It was immediately clear to her instructors that Tir's ability to intuitively understand, adjust and manage shields, energy weapons and even projectile systems was remarkable for one so young.
Her expertise was offset by a lack of social grace, and an alarming inability to get anything bio-sciences related to work at all. Tir earned a reputation as the girl you wanted working on your engineering projects team, but definitely not the one you take to the dance.
After graduating in 2403 she was assigned to the USS Casey, and over the years worked her way into a respected position as the officer you wanted handling tactical subsystems when everything went to hell.
During a routine stopover on the Vega Colony Lt. Val'Mirra was planet side for a two day leave when the Borg attacked without warning. The USS Casey was destroyed in the initial assault, and the Lieutenant was among several who were assimilated groundside. Federation ground units dispatched as part of the counterstrike were able to rescue Tir, and Starfleet Medical staff successfully removed most, but not all, of her Borg implants.
Having completed her lengthy rehabilitation Lt. Val'Mirra has been cleared for active duty.
