Gonna respond to a couple things I saw... doubt I actually saw everything that was posted (you guys do walls of text as much as me! ) 1. I saw Cygnus say that an account is restricted to 3 events. I'm not sure if that specific restriction will change with Season 6, but I do know that the fleet system is getting a complete overhaul. I don't just mean Starbases and new missions, ships, etc. From what I understand, a lot of background things are changing too, but I'm not sure exactly what they are. So this obstacle may not be an issue later on. Also, as part of this change, fleet projects will require someone to be actively watching the fleet. So, Ny... if you can't be on much, please let the GM's help manage fleet projects (the option "Manage Fleet Holdings" is what I'm referring to specifically, but there's other options everybody will need access to, like "contribute..." and "purchase from fleet stores". You'll see it in the Settings tab after Thursday's patch). I assume we'll have a day or two where nobody can do anything with fleet stuff either way, since those options aren't set by default, but I know a lot of us are eager to get started on the starbase. Again, the fleet changes will help us to some degree. But we can't rely on them completely. It's still just a framework, and we've gotta fill it ourselves. 2. In response to what Soft Kitty said... I agree. That's exactly why I brought Nallie back into the fleet (technically she never left... I deleted the character for some reason, and never bothered getting her back in). I'm intending for her to be a permanent presence on the starbase (as an engineer, not anyone even close to being in authority), specifically for casual RP whenever I'm online. This means that even if the Sentinel is out on a long-term mission, I can still RP. Those of you on the Adagio will remember Nallie hopped on board during your preflight last week. Talia told me you were finishing repairs and last-minute stuff, so I figured having an engineer from the starbase running around doing last-minute tweaking would be good background RP. I didn't hear any complaints, so I assume it only helped your RP along (or at the very least, didn't hurt). 3. Lastly, since I was called out specifically, I do want to clarify on my previous post, since my post has apparently offended someone. I'm not trying to cast blame or point any fingers, or say this is a horrible fleet. In fact, I specifically worded it in such a way as to avoid naming any specific people. I simply listed reasons that were stated to me as to why some of our former members left. Yes, I have my own opinion, and some of that was in the post too. Some of you may even remember that I actually left myself a while back. But I came back, and I don't plan to leave anytime soon. I'm here, and I'm trying to do what I can to make this fleet better. This fleet is one of my main priorities (much more than the Emerald Syndicate, to be honest). I've never tried to be a leader, and even turned down a couple positions. But I am here, and I'm doing what I can. So... if you have a problem with me specifically, feel free to send me a PM, and I'll respond when I can.

Btw... the new starbases do have a holodeck on the map, so that may or may not help with the holodeck RP.

I suppose that really depends on the weapons you carry, and how you RP it. In most cases, all of us are carrying a sidearm (or should be, since it's a time of war and we're in an active engagement zone), so that's one of our weapon slots right there. The other one (if the character even has a second weapon), would most likely be a rifle or assault weapon, which is where the back mount would come in. On the rare occasion where a character has two large weapons (like when my MACO npc had a TR-116 and the standard MACO rifle), that can be explained as switching the weapons around, or simply dropping one to the ground and picking it up again later. Personally, I like having the weapons shown. I won't bother debating what's realistic and what isn't. But as I said before, you can disable yours from showing if you don't want it on your side / back. But I like mine there

New Tribble patch notes again tonight... They're really speeding up the patch pushes. Definitely something within a week or two, most likely Thursday.

I haven't figured out how to get one of the fed EV suits yet, and I'm not even sure we can get one. Though, considering all the Fed NPC's are wearing them, and even the spawned Security Escorts... I would hope we'd get one, even if it's only a "common" version. I do know there's a new set for the Tholians stuff, including a "Crystaline EV Suit" (not sure of the stats on it), but I do know the set is specifically tailored for EV ops.
As for the tribble fleet, I'm in the "Subspace Radio Tribble Test Fleet", and if you want to join, I'll be happy to send you an invite. At the very least, you can see how some things work, and visit the starbase.
For rewards... I'm not sure that EV suits will be the only rewards they offer. As I mentioned earlier, there's a whole set coming, so there's no telling what the full list of rewards will be once it comes out on holodeck.

The original price for CP was $1.25 = 100 CP, or $1.00 = 80 CP
Zen is $1 = 100 Zen, so the conversion rate is the same. You aren't losing any zen by going the PW route. In fact, if you buy amounts over $50, you actually get extra points with the bonus zen they give.
Also, with Season 6, the currency will become Zen anyway, and it'll be converted back with the appropriate "increase". So next week when it hits, you'll get a "bunch of new points" (even though the actual value is the same). The prices will, of course, be adjusted to compensate.
But as I said... you're getting the same price for the dollar.

the space missions are in the PVE queue (the button was moved to the main minimap). You should see "Fed Starbase Defense" and a few others, a total of 6 missions (4 space, 2 ground). All of them give marks based on your performance. I gave a more detailed description of the missions here.

Your @handle in-game won't change (at least, not for a while). The perfect world linking requirement is due to the fact that 1) Perfect World owns the game, and 2) They want their entire playerbase to be able to play and access the forums, not just those with existing Cryptic accounts. Eventually, the accounts will be merged together completely. That's just how things work... When Cryptic was owned by Atari, all of our stuff was merged with Atari. Now that it's owned by Perfect World, it's being merged with Perfect World. Here's the Account Linking FAQ, posted 6/20/12.

Oh, and Ny, there's an additional two options now in the new fleet settings. Here's the list of all new ones: - Manage Fleet Holdings - this allows you to set the starbase name / description, as well as manage the actual projects (described above)
- Invite Non-Fleet members to Fleet Holdings - Allows ranks with this permission to control the interior in the same way you control your ship's interior (invite / kick non-fleet members). As of the latest patch, opposite faction cannot be invited at all.
- Contribute to Fleet Projects - This setting determines whether or not a rank can contribute to the projects. (only reason I can think to disable this is for new members or something)
- Purchase from fleet stores - All the new ships, new weapons/equipment for both ground and space, and new "fleet-wide" buffs (that apparently only apply to the map they're in), will be in the fleet store for purchase once they're unlocked. This setting determines whether or not a player can make any purchases at all.
