She did not have one, a religion. She made it a point to study the great theologies of importance in the Federation. Thoughts and point of views from the devoted that still had something of their own even after taking the step into the larger world of science and technology. After previous events, looking back over history, she wonders if that was for the best.
To learn about the Avyani belief system was the reason why she came to the Avyani temple, to learn. She reach the point where she could no longer continue forward without information about things like faith. She could have studied the Klingon texts, but they were so adequated and mostly taught that trusting such beings as 'gods' were more trouble than it was worth. A point of view she still agreed with, because, once again, trouble.
She looked about the temple, looking to see who would and could help her with beginning her research. Other Starfleet officers seem to have embraced the Avyani in their own way. Maybe there was a membership form she could fill out.

"I agree. It's good to have a friend that cares about you. The Pixies? What is it like living with them. Well, they are not literally in my head but my cortical implant. They are nano-machines after all it's not like they can't be at home. The light form is their way to interact with others. In fact, the brighter the light the more the numbers. They are the base units for the UNITY networks. They are quite capable of just about anything you can imagine, but they need a director. Someone to focus their efforts and keep them from getting distracted. They are a little like children in that regard." Smiles at that thought. "This level of technology is very exciting to study. The UNITY at one time represented a powerful faction in the galaxy before everything badly during the last war several million years ago. It's so sad how this galaxy had suffered because of the Darkness and its misguided minions."

Hm, Val did not figure that this would be played off as a prank by the others. Still, she was determined. She walked into the barracks and up to Alton's rack. "Alton, this is not a joke. It's me, Val."

"Well, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. I have a stronger craving for cupcakes. That might because Elusive is always eating them." Val thinks for a moment. "The rest of the changes are just adapting to having four legs and no hands. The Pixies help out immensely with that part. I've had to get all my furniture sized down for someone my height. I still have a great deal of flexibility which astounds me to no end. Normally equines aren't triple jointed, but I seem to be." Val shows the doctor moving her forelegs around in angles that normally an equine could not do normally. "neat huh? As for it affecting my mental facilities. No, I have not sensed anything off. Granted, that might be harder for me to detect seeing as if I had some form of malady I might be the last one to detect it.

Izeita nodded her head listening to The super adorable Val pony speak all while she smiles warmly and encouragingly.
Blinking with surprise a moment Izeita cant help but giggle "Its rare people in here ask how I am, but I am fine, I love my job and I love helping people"
Izeita smiles while inclining her head "But I wonder, for a moment forget what others might think, how do you feel about how you are now? are you worrying you won't return to normal? what kinda thought do you have about it yourself that do not include the opinion of others?"
Val ponders what Izeita says to her for a moment, her eyes blinking. "Well, that is a possibility. I did receive this form on a lark from an omnipotent being. It could be his intention to cause discord on the ship; something I've felt recently after the incident. But you asked me what I felt, uhm, hm. Well, I've always had a strong affection for these ponies and quite frankly, at the moment, love being one. It's not every day you get the chance to switch species like this and see what it is actually like. As for staying this way for the rest of my life. Well, this is not the first change I've been through and I know I can get comfortable with it. Sure they'll be obstacles to overcome; like staying with the crew or even probably staying with Starfleet. I think that might be more detrimental to me then staying as a pony for the rest of my life."

As the door opened revealing the Val Pony, she smiled warmly "Ohh my littlle pony, come in, How are you feeling Lieutenant?" She questioned in her usual cheery voice having gotten to her feet, she motioned to a pair of large bean bags on the floor "Care for a bean seat" she asked as she walked over to them. Val smiled up to her, "Yes, I would." She moves over to the chair settling inside. "How am I feeling? Well, that's an interesting question. I am still feeling all sorts of feelings fromn amusement to fear about how others precieve me now. Granted, that has always been a personal fear of mine since my return to Starfleet. I've gotten over it for the most part, but sometimes it creeps up and likes to remind me of things that happen and is kind of a bother." She stops for a moment, "Oh, how are you today, Doctor?"

Val waved a hoof at him, trying to get his attention. Then waved the other hoof, then, "psst, Alton."
