She might notice Victor lurking on the other side of Sickbay, right near the door, clearly showing some interest in Mr. Cameron.

"Mr. Springfield has no known health issues at this time, aside from a decreased lung capacity of about 15% due to repeated inhilation of smoke derived from the combustion of tobacco. After a moment, a voice rang out: "Come in!"
Anna would first notice the soft music playing in the background: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWvPOJOYqGA
Next would be the light scent of incense; something that invoked the image of the Hindu-Kush Mountains. Victor was sitting on his couch in a silky black robe, a glass of scotch in his hand.
"Come in, take a seat, Lieutenant. Can I get you a drink?" He motioned to a small collection of liquor bottles on the table.

"Wow Doc," said the voice behind her. "You're hitting that thing like it owes you latinum."
Behind her was Victor Springfield in his workout outfit, a medicine ball in one hand and a jug of water in the other. He sat down on a bench, fixing his shoes before starting his workout. It was baseball season, after all, and he needed to hone his skills.

USS Sentinel NCC-99014 Personal Log
Lieutenant Victor Springfield - Intelligence Liaison Officer
Stardate : [After the Sentinel event, 2/26/2017]
[Log Begins]
As always, Victor is sitting in a haze of silver-blue smoke which is emanating from his lit menthol cigarette, tucked between his teeth. The room is foggy, as if he's been smoking for a while. Some music is playing in the background...
You know, I don't usually get to see combat. He ashed the cigarette. But /damn/, am I good at it! Why didn't I join the Security division?
He put another menthol between his lips and lit with his Zippo. It had an engraving that was popular among his old JAG corps buddies: "Fighter by day / Lover by night / Drunkard by choice / JAG by mistake."
Oh yeah, that's right. I wanted to be a JAG attorney, because I loved justice. Really ironic how that worked out, huh? He took a drag. Ended up being reassigned to the Diplomatic Corps as a cover for my role as courier to a covert intelligence project. Kind of did a 180 there, I guess. Ran around in the shadows for eight years like that, lying to pretty much everyone, just to bring trinkets back to some high security vault before Section 31 could get their hands on it. And you know what the worst part was? I didn't think twice about it.
Jon was shocked when I told him that I don't trust anybody. Hell, I don't even trust myself. Even though I'm out now, I can't erase all that time. He tapped the ashes off his cigarette. I even lied to these guys he motions generally around the room about why I was really here. They don't trust me, and I can't blame them.
He held his cigarette between his index and middle finger as he pointed at the screen. Here's how I see it. For there to be good guys, there has to be bad guys, right? You couldn't have one without the other. So maybe the Sentinel crew are the good guys... and I'm, well, you know.
He cocked his head to the side and took a drag from his smoke as he reached over and flipped a switch on the computer.

The cover of darkness was always best, Vic wagered, as he quickly looked both ways and stepped out into the hall. It was something like 1AM, and the ship seemed quiet. At the very least, there wasn't much foot traffic in the crew quarters deck. In fact, he didn't seem to run into anyone as he rounded each corner carefully.
He didn't need the ship's computer to tell him where to go. He had the layout memorized at this point, and so he silently made his way through the winding halls.
Eventually he found his target, cautiously peeking around his shoulder before stepping into the darkened mess hall. He walked over to the replicator, and spoke in a hushed voice. "Hot chocolate, extra marshmallows."

Victor spends most of his time under cloak, dropping proximity mines in a major chokepoint on the way to the Federation flag. He is taking careful efforts to make sure they are spread out in not only an effective manner, but an aesthetically pleasing one as well.

USS Sentinel NCC-99014 Personal Log
Lieutenant Victor Springfield - Intelligence Liaison Officer
Stardate : January 15, 2421
[Log Begins]
Victor is sitting at a desk in his quarters with the lights dimmed low, and nearly concealed by a mist of cigar smoke. A lit Churchill cigar hangs in his mouth, newly lit. A glass of Jonnie Walker Blue rests on his desk, which he occasionally sips from. Music plays softly from the back of the room...
Looks like someone is finally trying to cash in on K'Rika. Can't say I didn't predict this. If she was still locked in that box, this would have never been an issue...
He shook his head.
God, I might be going crazy. Every little trip in that tank takes something away, and although I'll never admit it directly, I ended up taking the hit for both Kessi and myself. I swear that this is the reason for my bad dreams. Oh well. That's all I can say on the matter.
