I liked the trailer, but very disappointed that it looks like it's set in the JJverse 😔

As the U.S.S. Endeavour pulled into McKinley Station, Rear Admiral Brian S. Donaldson stood facing one of the enormous windows behind his desk. Taking in the magnificent view of Earth; the sun was just rising over Japan; the Admiral couldn't help but wonder at the natural beauty of it all.
The Endeavour was scheduled for a brief three month systems overhaul and the replacement of the aft docking collar with a secondary shuttlebay, the home of the Aquarius-Class U.S.S. James Cook for the better part of the last two years. The little, yet powerful destroyer had served with distinction and helped the Endeavour crew pull victory out of certain defeat on a multitude of occasions. It had been decided that the time had come for the ship to operate independently... to cut the cord and let the little ship make a name of her own.
Taking full advantage of this opportunity, Donaldson had granted his crew leave for the duration of the Endeavour's stay, but the Admiral himself had been called to report to Starfleet Headquarters. He wasn't looking forward to it, at his core he always considered himself a field officer... preferring the action involved in field work over the tedium of a desk job here on Earth, always in the back of his mind he feared they would try to force him into a desk whenever he was there.
It had been years since he had last been to San Francisco, just stepping near the Presidio ripped open the gapping hole left in his heart the day his wife and unborn child had been taken from him. 7 years prior, his still pregnant wife had been killed by a terrorist bombing of Starfleet Academy. 161 people lost their lives that day. It was the catalyst that allowed him to accept the offer to command the 22nd Mobile that Soon followed. Seven long years had past, and it still felt like yesterday...
His thoughts were interrupted by the beeping of the ship's intercom. "Commander T'pang to Admiral Donaldson."
Taking a deep breath and letting it out with a heavy hearted sigh, he responded. "Donaldson here. Go ahead, Commander."
"As you requested, I am reporting that the Endeavour has successfully docked with McKinley Station. Station Control is requesting clearance to begin loading personnel and equipment."
"Very good, Commander. Inform them they can begin their work as soon as all ship personnel have disembarked."
"Understood, Admiral." After a brief pause, his Vulcan Executive Officer continued "There is one more thing, Sir. We just received a communication from Fleet Admiral Quinn's office. He has requested you report to him as soon as your able."
"Interesting. I wasn't scheduled to meet with him till next week. Very well, acknowledge the request and inform his aide I'll be in San Fransisco in two hours."
"Right away, Admiral." She said in her typical cool and confident voice. He had grown to not only appreciate her icy matter of fact attitude, but relied on it as a source of strength when he needed it most.
Finally taking his eyes off the planetary vista on display outside, he sat down at his desk and tapped a button. A few seconds later, his aide dutifully entered the room and handed him a padd with last minute requests from the crew before he left the ship.
Nodding once, he took the pad and began reading, thinking that he couldn't wait till these three months were over.
To be continued...

Personally, I am...
1. In favor of using the odyssey uniform as the official fleet uniform.
2. For removing ship specific uniforms in favor of a specific fleet uniform.
3. Totally in favor of using the AGT badge

Oh also B! I am working on several updated LCARS for the new TF deployments you've been proposing and working so hard on to add some more depth to fleet's feel. Just thought I would drop that in as well Thanks Talia ;D[/quote] You're welcome! Those LCARS are more than just that honey, as a few of the other players have mentioned , its just not a display map. It helps make the fleet feel connected and it is used in RP and has been rp'd out. Some of the NPC skippers have even come to their own life through interactions during an event...much like Desaj has for the Sentinel...at one point of crisis during an event Joyand some of her officers relayed on him since they knew from past IC ezperience they could trust him and his response... It comes down to how they are used to heightened the rp and allow the players to build off it. Ive seen it in practice or I would bother with them I just went over this, I agree. And Ive seen the foundations of these things bulding..not just from Missions honey. I went out of my way to say i saw several success in cross fleet socials. I know for a fact cyg is...Cyg has been helpful ICly and OOCly as have I and Koss too with al lof the ships. I know that all of us have been helping Koss get the Pilgrim up and running so we did not lose the tuesday group...and so far its slow but its a start... No by and large I suppose this hasnt happened. I do know that I have never stopped recruiting and neither has Cyg..but you are right it is not enough..we all have to be out there and loking for good rpers! We all need to pitch in and help spread the word about how good this fleet can be! I disagree with this...Cyg and I have long long been working together with the Adagio and Sentinel groups and have been working with Koss on trying to save the Tueday group and have been pitching in both ICly and OOCly to get that ship up and running for the gang on tuesdays... Again i disagree with this type of genralization because Ive seen the cross ship and interfleet rp during my Sentinel socials and Cyg's Adagio ones since back before Christmas...when the call goes out for everyone who is on to come join..we have a great mix of rp...and these guys do care about their characters and the ones they meet.. I know its not ideal at the moment..but what is needed tis a regular night to do this on and steady involvement of the fleet player base when they are able.. Again i am unsure what cliques there are...ive never allowed such an attitude on any of the ships Ive run or commanded ICly...I know ive always left he door open for as much fleet interaction as possible... again I think what needs to be done is a steady consistant night , Like what Anja tried to do...I am unable to make it each week on Thrusdays or Fridays due to my job but I will make it when I can... I think that is going to give us the firmer grounding of interaction you are discussing here. something I know you and I agree with. I agree for the most part but I also see improvement and cooperation here too. The Pilgrim as it gets underway is proff of that...and the attendance and attidue that I see each Satruday and Sunday and the willingess I see here on the forums to solve this also is a good sign Oh then we do see things a little differently, with the degree of cooperation and effport ive seen the last few months and the progress made with the cross rp efforts and the salvaging of the Tuesday group..I dont see us ..any of us allowing the fleet to fester...nor cutting off one hand ... I see problems and as Koss said I see the slump...but I also see it and problems being adressed and some folks working really hard to try and make things better... Which to me says we are doing more than surviving...we are trying to grow and are willing to do so. Yes we have issues...but I think we can address them and I do see hope that we can turn stuff around and well...i think we are even starting too to a degree. I love this fleet and all of her players! This is an awesome community and I am here to roll up my sleeves and get done all that I can to give it its best shot!

Im sorry Talia, but most of what you just said sounded like you think everything is mostly A-ok and the problems we do have are minor and easily fixed with little disruption to the status-quo.
Sure some players have connections with other players from other ships, they either have alts playing with them, had alts their, or GM both groups. What about the players who only RP with a single Group... say we had a player who plays the Helmsman aboard the Endeavour. She's only every played on the Endeavour with the Endeavour players for the 3 hours they meet on Saturday afternoons. How can this player have any connection to say... Malitzka. And if they do have a friendship outside of the RP and on the forums OOCly, how does that player's character feel about what goes on aboard the Adagio or the Sentinel or what happens to his/her fellow members of Starfleet. Are they just faceless names on a Roster, people and places only seen on a computer screen deployment readout, or does that character feel a real connection to the other characters in the fleet as much as they do the other characters on their ship?
